2 Stepmachines from Andreas Remshagen
Step machines are synthesizers that allow you to create so-called arpeggio loops at the touch of a key.
You hear it a lot in various synthesizer music. Jean Michel Jarre also made extensive use of this.
It's fun to experiment with this.
You can make a musical rhythmic loop of up to 2 octaves difference in 32 steps.
Once created it is automatically transposed to the key that is pressed.
Hold the key (or use the "Key Hold" function) and try to make the favorite sound using all the knobs and switches.
Very addictive.
There is a standalone version to install but the *.DLL file can also be used with VST-Host van Hermann Seib.
The advantage is that you can import multiple VST instruments in one program and link them with VST effects.
You can choose between two step sequencers to program arpeggio loops.
